Technical Means and Tools

Canadian 372

This small aluminum floating unit was designed to meet all those operating needs in very shallow waters, including internal freshwater basins. The very low weight allows it to be easily handled and transported even on the Defender’s roof rack. Equipped with a 15 hp Honda engine, the unit is still capable of covering important distances safely and at reasonable speeds, even with decent volumes of load on board.

The primary purposes of this medium are:
– navigation in internal basins;
– water and sediment sampling;
– assistance with underwater operations;
– equipment transfer;
– surveys in shallow and/or difficult to navigate waters.

Defender 110

Sealives S.r.l.s. has a multi-purpose 4×4 vehicle, equipped with differential locks, useful for transporting equipment and people when reaching land sites without ordinary roads. In this way it becomes possible to operate in internal areas such as freshwater basins or impervious stretches of coast which are the subject of the study campaigns.

No Problem II

The American-built unit was born as a sport fishing vessel. Subsequently readapted for the company’s purposes, it is the means by which most of the work at sea was carried out. Equipped with a 6.5 kW generator, electric crane for launching and hauling instruments at sea, oceanographic winch, ladder for divers, depth sounder and large spaces. With this vehicle it is possible to carry out campaigns lasting even several days without necessarily having to return to port given its internal habitability characteristics.

– Registered for own use in the registers of the Porto Torres harbor office.
– Navigation qualification within 12 miles from the coast with 8 transportable people.
– Hull data: length: 11.65 M width: 3.70 M draft: 0.85 M
– Engine: 2x Iveco Aifo

Equipment:
– Maneuvering bow thruster
– Electric crane with lifting capacity of 200 kg
